HTML (HyperText Markup Language) codes are codes for the internet, and webpages, that tell what you want the webpage to look like.
Like, for example, you are making a webpage (On an Advanced Editor). And you want the text to be red.
You would type some text. Let's type:
This should be red.
To make the text actually red, you would have to add this:
So when your done, you will have something that looks like this:
This should be red.
And that's it! It will look like that in the editor, but when viewed on the web all you will see
is the things that are not in the < or > 's. So you would just see the text.
This should be red.

And now you know what HTML Codes are!
If you have decided that these HTML Codes are too much for you, and you would rather not learn them, there
are some websevers that offer an editor that does not need HTML Codes.
So far, these webservers I know offer an editor that works with no HTML Codes:
Homestead
Angelfire
AngelCities
The Express Page (or Expage)
AOL
If you know a webserver to add to this list, please email me with the address (URL). Thank you, and I hope this page helped you understand a little more of what HTML is.
